Our Technology
A white-light LED with BrightCo technology works by using a blue-light–emitting diode whose light strikes a layer of phosphor. When the blue light hits the phosphor particles, part of it is converted into light of different colors, and together these colors mix to produce white light. The patented BrightCo filter seals the system and creates a quantum cavity that improves efficiency. It reflects excess blue light back toward the phosphor, allowing it to be converted into additional white light, which increases the overall brightness and performance of the LED.
